Series A-2, Ages 7-12 Copyright 2001 by Sharon L. White Note to parents: The following activities are designed to teach, entertain and strengthen the hearts of young children. They should be printed out and will provide a wonderful resource for A Sabbath morning or afternoon. Children will need some guidance and instruction to go along with the text. For younger children, who tire easily, it is best to do a little at a time. Perhaps a few pages in the morning and then some more in the afternoon. There is an easy word search for the younger children and a harder search that the whole family can work on. The harder search can also be done by an older child, providing a great challenge. Enjoy! And may our Holy Sabbaths, that our great and joyous Elohim (God) has given to us, be a blessing. Shalom, Created by Mrs. Sharon White Homeschooling Mother of Five Editor/Founder, Stepping out of the Darkness ____________________________________________________________ ROMANS 13:11 And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed. Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin. __________________________________________ Elohim (God) tells us that we don't KNOW what will happen tomorrow. Our lives are short and we must be very careful and thankful for the time we have. WORK hard! Be DILIGENT! If you know there is something good and kind you can do . . . But, instead, you act naughty and DON'T do it, that is a terrible SIN! Do all the good you can today, because tomorrow will soon FADE away! ________________________________ Write this sentence four times: Call upon Elohim (God) and obey Him! 1._____________________________________________ 2._____________________________________________ 3._____________________________________________ 4._____________________________________________ WORD SEARCH for older children / families KNOWING TIME HIGH OUT NEARER BELIEVED AWAKE GLORY HARP EARLY COUNT STILL SAND UPON THINK LIFE KEEP MORROW WHEREFORE ARISE GIVE LIGHT GATHER SUMMER WISE SON SLEEPETH HARVEST SHAME MASTER SAID VOICE SLEEPER CALL PERISH TREASURE VAPOUR TIME Now therefore, if ye will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people: for all the earth is mine - Exodus 19:30 P E E K A R I S E E R O F E R E H W M H I G L O U T A I K N O W I N G S T E K A W A L P Q E C I O V D I A S L L I T S E V I G I X Y H I G H C L G V Z I C A L L O H A R N K W K E R T S E K U P O N Y P R A H E A R L Y R B E L I E V E D E O B E Y O B E X R E M I T P E R I A H T E P E E L S E O B E D I E N C N S H I P M A S T S A L V A C I O N O H T E P E E L S N I S Y E I Z O O C O U N T I N G S T O M O R R O W I G P N L I F E U T I A O S A L V A O S E T T I N U Z P H A G H S H A M E P P N C E W I S E E U E D C R Y W I R E S I W I D M E I S U M M E R N Q S L E E P E R I A H A R V E S T V S T R E A S U R E K R U O P A V A W X R E T S A M P I H How many words are there to find? ________________ How many did you find? _____________________ What words were listed twice? ___________________ Did you find them ALL? ______________________ WORD SEARCH FOR YOUNGER CHILDREN Time Arise Light Sleep Shame Call Sand Think Awake L T I M E A R A L L A C E C R S H A M E A I L I G H T L S S A N D O L E K N I H T S S L E E P C A A W A K E L O How many words did you have to find? ________________ Did you see the word - CALL - listed more than once? ________ How many times did you see the word - CALL? _____________ Remember to call on Elohim (God) to help you work hard!
